The Legend of the Golden Wolf
A fairy’s summons leads Philips to a mysterious wolf, whose prophecy threatens the future of all Lesogoria.
A Summons from Aria
One night Aria, the fairy from the Red Jungle, appears to Philips and asks him to perform a task on which the future of Lesogoria may depend. He has already proved himself compassionate and brave; now he must seek the mysterious Golden Wolf and hear the Great Prophecy. Philips is surprised that such an enormous responsibility should be entrusted to a small house cat, but he cannot refuse friends who may be in danger.
Returning to Lesogoria, he discovers signs that all is not well. The delicate balance of the enchanted country appears to be changing. Guided by the powerful and loyal Beloslava, he travels towards the land of wolves. The journey reveals a long-standing division between communities, bound up with the decline of the sacred Lilith tree. Hostility towards outsiders makes the mission more difficult, and Philips must navigate suspicion without forgetting why he has come.
The Wolf and the Prophecy
The encounter with the Golden Wolf is unlike an ordinary meeting between animals. The immense, luminous creature belongs to a world that touches the Rainbow — the place of memory, departure and continuing responsibility. He tells Philips that the country faces a catastrophe from the sky: a great celestial body, a meteorite, is heading towards Lesogoria.
Philips is frightened but listens carefully. The warning is not given so that the inhabitants will despair; it is an opportunity to prepare. The Golden Wolf's message makes it clear that survival will depend on foresight, solidarity and practical action. The kitten understands that he must return at once and tell the Silver Eagle.
A Country Prepares
With Aria's assistance Philips returns from his extraordinary encounter and spreads the warning. Rozerna and the Silver Eagle treat the danger seriously. The giraffe Julien studies the sky and calculates what the approaching impact may mean, while the animals consider where the greatest dangers will fall. Shelters are explored, including underground spaces that may protect some inhabitants.
Others organise an even larger response. Under Rafael's leadership, the beavers build enormous vessels near the sea so that many of Lesogoria's residents can take refuge on the water. The undertaking brings together animals with different skills and temperaments. Philips watches as fear gives way to a collective effort. The country is not saved by a single magical spell, but by creatures accepting responsibility for one another.
A Difficult Farewell
Before leaving, Philips visits his friends and sees the preparations advancing. The vessels are nearing completion and the inhabitants are gathering in the places chosen for safety. He would dearly like to remain with them, but he must return to the human world. The prophecy also means that Lesogoria's magical passage will close temporarily; he cannot simply come and go while the crisis unfolds.
Back at home he tries to activate the Sun Flower again, but the words no longer work. He is left waiting, anxious for those he loves yet comforted by the knowledge that he has delivered the warning and helped unite his friends. The story ends with the danger still ahead and its outcome uncertain: Philips's greatest achievement is giving Lesogoria time to face it together.
